Washington

The lake. The business. The life I built here.

A calm lake with a dock and boat in the foreground, surrounded by trees and rolling hills in the distance under a clear blue sky.

This is one half of my life—and the part I'm still figuring out what to do with.

Life in a Small Town

I live in Republic, Washington—a small town where life moves differently than it does in Florida.

This is where I built my salon, boutique and tanning business. It's where I work, create, know my clients, and have built a life one project at a time.

And just outside of all that is the lake—the place that makes it very easy to remember why leaving Washington isn't such a simple decision.

There are things here I love. There are also things I'm ready to change.

The interior of a small retail store with various display racks and shelves filled with hair and beauty products. There is a blackboard with handwritten prices, a red LED sign indicating the store's hours from 9 am to 3 pm, and a woman with curly dark hair looking at products on the right side. The ceiling has a chandelier and a security camera.

Stay, Sell, or Something in Between?

That's the question I'm trying to answer.

I've built a business here that works. I have clients I care about, a community I know, and a life that didn't happen overnight.

But keeping everything exactly the way it is makes it harder to spend meaningful time in Florida—and I'm ready to find out what that part of my life could become.

So I'm looking at the options. Keep it. Change it. Find the right person to take it over. Build something different.

I don't know the answer yet.

What I'd Miss.

THE LAKE

Quiet mornings, summer evenings and the pontoon.

People gathering at a park with a large tree, a playground, and a covered pavilion, during what appears to be a community event or festival.

THE PEOPLE

Clients, friends, familiar faces and a community where people know one another.

THE LIFE I'VE BUILT

My business, my routines and all the little things that became normal along the way.

Maybe figuring out what comes next isn't only about where I want to go. It's also about understanding what I'm not quite ready to leave.
