I Didn't Start Over.
I Started From Here.

Life has taken me in directions I never expected.

I've built businesses, raised a family, changed course more than once, and learned that sometimes the life you planned isn't the life you end up living.

Now I'm splitting my time between Washington and Florida, sorting through homes, businesses, belongings, ideas—and a whole lot of questions about what comes next.

I'm not starting from scratch. I'm starting with everything I've learned along the way.

And I'm starting from here.

I've Done a Lot of Things.

I've never been very good at doing just one thing.

I've built businesses, learned new trades, taught what I knew, created things with my hands and followed more than a few ideas just to see where they might lead.

Some worked. Some didn't. All of them taught me something.

Beauty

Hair, skin, nails, salon life and teaching others what I know.

Business

From cafés and candy to boutiques, tanning and more—I’ve turned a lot of ideas into businesses.

Creative Life

Painting, decorating, creating and always wondering, ‘What could I do with this?'“

Then Life Changed the Plan.

Sometimes change comes because you choose it.

And sometimes life makes the choice for you.

Over the last few years, I've found myself looking differently at the life I've built—what I wanted to keep, what I was ready to let go of, and how I actually wanted my days to look.

Then Washington and Florida became two very real parts of my life.

Suddenly I had homes, belongings, businesses, projects and responsibilities in two completely different places—and some big decisions to make.

I still don't know exactly where all of this leads.

That's kind of the point.

So, What Now?

I could wait until I have a perfect plan and then tell you how it all worked out.

But that's not where I am.

I'm figuring out what happens with Washington. What happens with Florida. What I keep, what I sell, what I build next—and what kind of life I actually want.

So instead of waiting until I know the ending, I'm bringing you along while I figure it out.

Let's see what happens.
